Sumo Hibachi Grill & Sushi on Victory Drive is a fantastic, no-frills spot for a quick and delicious meal. Located in a strip mall, it’s all about great food without any pretentiousness. Ordering carry-out was super easy, and the staff was friendly and efficient. We went with the P5 Hibachi Grilled Scallops for our order, and it was absolutely spot-on. The scallops were perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, served with generous portions of fried rice and fresh veggies. Everything was still hot and fresh by the time we got home, and the quality was just as good as if we had eaten in the restaurant. Sumo is a great choice if you’re in the Victory Drive area and looking for a reliable, tasty option for carry-out or a casual dine-in experience. Highly recommend giving them a call for an easy, stress-free meal!

We have dined in at Sumo's on Victory many times. We are always greeted by very nice friendly employees. There is a young man that normally takes the orders & he is exceptional. The food is always hot & fresh. They bring it to your table. It is so refreshing to go to a restaurant & get good customer service. They welcome you & you can feel they appreciate your business. The restaurant is clean & comfortable with plenty of parking.

We love the one in Brunswick GA, we used to go at least once a week and were so sad when we moved because we couldn’t go anymore. Then they built this!! The food taste exactly the same!! Everyone needs to go here and try it! Recommend the House roll and the Tokyo roll!

Sumo Hibachi and Grill is an amazing place to eat! The staff is always kind, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. They treat every guest with respect and really care about giving great service. The food is always fresh and delicious — the portions are big, the flavors are on point, and everything comes out hot and perfectly cooked. Whether it’s the steak, chicken, or sushi, you can tell they take pride in what they serve. It’s one of those places you can go to anytime and know you’ll have a good meal and good people around you.

My first time here after their grand opening. They have a very nice atmosphere and even better sushi! I had the Tokyo Roll which had fried fish and shrimp tempura, delicious. And the Volcano was a deep fried roll also so so good! So happy you opened another location in Thunderbolt!

The food was incredibly fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with care. The sushi was beautifully prepared, the portions were perfect, and every dish came out tasting even better than it looked. The staff were polite, attentiv. The atmosphere was clean, calm, and truly added to the authenticity of the meal. Overall, a fantastic place to enjoy great cuisine — I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great food! Definitely a good experience! Employees are attentive, helpful and friendly. Food was served quickly along with condiments and a glass of water. Cashier listened carefully to my allergy concerns and assured me they could accommodate me. We will definitely come back!
